Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the basic English language skills of children in Dongko Village through interactive learning methods that combine educational games, physical activities, and visualizations. The problem identified is the low interest and understanding of children in English, which has been taught in a conventional and uninteresting manner. The method of implementation is carried out using a participatory approach based on hands-on learning in study groups. The program was conducted over three weeks, featuring a series of activities ranging from introducing basic vocabulary (colors, animals, numbers) to reinforcement activities through educational games and songs. The results of the community service showed a significant increase in children's vocabulary comprehension, pronunciation, and active participation in the learning process. This strategy also increased children's motivation and confidence in using English. This activity supports the strengthening of language literacy at the elementary level in accordance with the Merdeka Belajar policy and Presidential Regulation No. 87 of 2017 concerning the Strengthening of Character Education.
