<![CDATA[Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengenai pengaruh kompetensi dan komitmen organisasi terhadap motivasi kerja dan kinerja pegawai, serta untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja dalam memediasi pengaruh kompetensi dan komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai pada Kantor Balitbanda Kabupaten Majene Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan yang ditentukan sebanyak 47 orang pegawai. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran kuesioner dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis jalur. Hasil temuan empirik bahwa kompetensi dan komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja dan kinerja pegawai. Motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Sedangkan dari hasil uji mediasi bahwa motivasi kerja dapat memediasi pengaruh kompetensi dan komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Kantor Balitbanda Kabupaten Majene Provinsi Sulawesi Barat. Sehingga dari pengujian hipotesis pertama sampai hipotesis ketujuh dapat diterima. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of competence and organizational commitment on work motivation and employee performance, as well as to determine the influence of work motivation in mediating the influence of competence and organizational commitment on employee performance. The population in this study were employees at the Balitbanda Office, Majene Regency, South Sulawesi Province, which was determined to be 47 employees. Data collection techniques through distributing questionnaires with data analysis techniques using path analysis. The empirical findings show that competence and organizational commitment have a positive and significant effect on work motivation and employee performance. Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Meanwhile, from the results of the mediation test, work motivation can mediate the influence of competence and organizational commitment on employee performance at the Balitbanda Office, Majene Regency, West Sulawesi Province. So that from testing the first hypothesis to the seventh hypothesis it can be accepted.]]>
