Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the current sukuk practices and formulate strategies to increase sustainability in sukuk transactions. The main focus of the research is to bridge the gap between sustainability principles and Islamic financial practices, particularly in sukuk transactions, to maximize their contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Theoretical framework: Based on sharia principles and sustainable finance theory, especially ESG aspects in Sukuk instruments. Literature review:  There is a considerable amount of sukuk literature, but studies on its relationship with sustainability and ESG are still limited and in-depth. Methods: Using qualitative methods through the analysis of literature and Islamic financial sector sources to evaluate the suitability of sukuk with sustainability principles. Results: The results show that sukuk has great potential as an innovative financial instrument that can directly support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including access to affordable renewable energy, infrastructure development, and the creation of sustainable cities and communities. Implications: Provides a basis for academics and policymakers to develop a sustainable sukuk policy framework. Novelty: Offers a new approach that explicitly links sukuk and ESG, as well as practical strategies for its integration in Islamic finance.

Abstract

Objective: This study is to systematically examine the laws and guidelines of mutual understanding through social media from the perspective of Islamic law, in response to the rapid development of economic and social interaction on digital platforms. Theoretical framework: this research is based on sharia principles taken from the Qur'an and Hadith, as well as Islamic ethical values such as honesty (shidq), Amanah, tabayyun, and clarity of the contract. Literature review: This research includes primary sources such as the Qur'an and Hadith, as well as secondary sources in the form of jurisprudence, scientific articles, MUI fatwas, and laws and regulations relevant to digital muamalah. Methods: This study uses a qualitative approach with the library research method, through an in-depth analysis of literature related to Islamic law and interaction on social media. Results: This study shows that muamalah through social media is permissible in Islam as long as it does not contradict sharia principles such as the prohibition of riba, gharar, maysir, and tadlis. This research also emphasizes the importance of applying Islamic ethics in digital interactions. Implications: This study highlights the need to increase education about digital fiqh muamalah fiqh, collaboration between scholars, the government, and digital platforms, as well as the preparation of regulations that are adaptive to technological developments to minimize sharia violations on social media. Novelty: this research lies in the systematization of comprehensive sharia guidelines in muamalah on social media, which can be a practical reference for Muslims in interacting digitally responsibly and by religious teachings.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to identify and analyze the coaching process carried out by the Gorontalo City Social and Community Empowerment Service for street clowns and silver men, as well as evaluate the level of effectiveness of the implementation of the program. Theoretical framework: The theoretical framework of this research is based on the theory of social development, community empowerment, and social control theory that emphasizes the urgency of rehabilitation, the provision of skills training programs, and the strengthening of cross-sector coordination to overcome complex and sustainable social problems. Literature review:  The literature review in this study examines the phenomenon of the emergence of beggars with creative methods, namely street clowns and silver men, which represent a new form of begging practice in public spaces. In addition, the literature also emphasizes the role of local governments in the implementation of social development programs, the urgency of the involvement of officials in supervision, and the effectiveness of community empowerment programs in suppressing similar practices. Method: This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and literature studies. The research analysis focused on three main indicators, namely the existence of coaching programs, the availability of apparatus, and supervision mechanisms. Results: The results of the study show that the implementation of coaching has not reached the expected effectiveness. The main obstacles include the absence of post-coaching skills training programs, the limited number of officers on duty, and weak coordination between related agencies. This has resulted in the return of most street clowns and silvermen to their old activities on the streets, even with a tendency to move to areas with looser levels of surveillance. Implications:  This study emphasizes the urgency of strengthening sustainable social development programs through skills training, increasing the number of officials, and cross-sectoral coordination. These findings can be a reference for local governments in formulating policies to handle social problems more effectively. Novelty: The novelty of this research lies in the study of the contemporary phenomenon of beggars with a new identity, namely, street clowns and silver men. This research also provides a critical analysis of the limitations of local government development programs to enrich academic studies as well as provide practical input for social policies.
