Abstract

The covid-19 virus that spreads in various countries around the world is one of the causes of the decline in the world economy, including Indonesia. This has caused many people in Indonesia an economic decline and even loss of their jobs due to a reduction in the number of workers in companies affected by this pandemic. Therefore, special strategies and solutions are needed to deal with the current economic downturn in society. One of the solutions is through the use of unproductive narrow land for oyster mushroom cultivation. The research objectives are 1) knowing the condition of the unproductive narrow land 2) implementing unproductive narrow land use in oyster mushroom cultivation, and 3) evaluating changes in unproductive narrow land and yields of oyster mushroom cultivation in the society of Boyolangu District, Tulungagung Regency. Qualitative research method with the type of research PAR (Participatory action research). The result of the research is that narrow unproductive land can be used for oyster mushroom cultivation, encourage economic independence by increasing people's income, and open new insights about resilience to pandemic situations, and this can be done by several layers of society both young people and housewives.

Abstract

The objective of the present study was to ascertain a resolution and establish a correlation pertaining to the application of digital marketing in enhancing the volume of product sales and the economic well-being of the local community engaged in the production of oyster mushroom processing within Tulungagung Regency. Additionally, this study aimed to identify the challenges or issues encountered by entrepreneurs in leveraging digital marketing, thereby facilitating the effective and efficient implementation of strategic initiatives. The research methodology employed in this investigation is descriptive in nature, utilizing a qualitative approach. The data type utilized comprises primary data obtained through structured interviews and direct observations. The findings from the discussion indicate that the utilization and activities associated with digital marketing yield highly favorable and beneficial effects on product sales volume and contribute positively to the economic development of the community involved in the oyster mushroom processing sector in Tulungagung Regency. The digital marketing strategies employed encompass the deployment of internet media, various digital platforms (including WhatsApp, Shopee, TikTok, and Tokopedia), and the creation of innovative video content, which collectively enhance brand visibility, expand marketing reach, and attract new clientele. Nevertheless, it is imperative that entrepreneurs engaged in oyster mushroom processing within Tulungagung Regency promptly address several challenges encountered in practice, notably including the requisite skills and competencies for effectively utilizing the internet and digital platforms, as well as constraints relating to human resources and the availability of stable and continuous raw materials.

Abstract

The phenomenon and problems found in the field are that many experienced oyster mushroom farmers who have been in business for more than four years have experienced a decline in turnover or profits and have even stopped their businesses. This is due to several factors, and a solution or answer must be found so that people who cultivate oyster mushrooms in East Java Province can run their businesses and improve them. One solution is to improve production efficiency by utilizing information from the internet, such as research journals and e-books related to oyster mushroom production. The objectives of this study are 1) to determine the production efficiency of oyster mushroom MSMEs using the methods that have been implemented, 2) to implement production efficiency by replacing nutrients with better ones and production energy, and 3) to apply production efficiency by replacing production energy. The research method used was qualitative research with a PAR (Participatory Action Research) approach. The results of the study showed that the percentage increase in the economic value of the second production compared to the first production after several changes was 195.325%, while the percentage increase in the economic value of the third production was 308.848%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the third production has a very high economic value for the community engaged in oyster mushroom production in East Java Province.
