Abstract

One of the public health issues in Bukit Sangkal, Palembang, is the underutilization of local resources such as Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA). The local community lacks awareness about the benefits of TOGA and has yet to optimize its cultivation and use in daily life. This community service program aims to empower residents through education and training on TOGA cultivation, utilization, and management as an alternative solution to support family health. The methods used include participatory counseling, hands-on field training, and ongoing assistance for residents of RT 30. The results show an increase in community knowledge and skills in cultivating and using TOGA. Several households have also begun independently managing TOGA in their home environments. Additionally, this activity produced educational outputs such as a simple TOGA handbook and short tutorial videos for sustainable use. In conclusion, TOGA empowerment in Bukit Sangkal has proven effective in promoting community health based on local potential. Abstract

Work Life Balance (WLB) merupakan isu penting dalam pengelolaan sumber daya manusia, termasuk pada Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) yang menghadapi tuntutan kerja birokratis dan keterbatasan fleksibilitas peran. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan memvalidasi alat ukur Work Life Balance yang sesuai dengan karakteristik ASN di Indonesia. Konstruk WLB mengacu pada model empat dimensi dari Fisher et al. (2009), yaitu Work Interference with Personal Life (WIPL), Personal Life Interference with Work (PLIW), Work Enhancement of Personal Life (WEPL), dan Personal Life Enhancement of Work (PLEW). Penelitian menggunakan desain instrument development and validation study dengan dua tahap pengambilan data, yaitu uji coba (N = 30) dan pasca uji coba (N = 377). Validitas isi diuji melalui expert judgment (N = 5) menggunakan Aiken’s V dengan nilai 0,80–1,00. Analisis item menunjukkan korelasi positif signifikan (p < 0,001) dan item-rest correlation > 0,30, dengan reliabilitas tinggi (α = 0,852–0,963; ω = 0,865–0,963). Hasil Exploratory Factor Analysis (KMO = 0,829; p < 0,001) menunjukkan satu faktor utama yang menjelaskan 62% varians total. Confirmatory Factor Analysis mendukung model unidimensional (CFI = 0,922; TLI = 0,905; GFI = 0,973). Instrumen ini valid dan reliabel untuk mengukur WLB pada ASN di Indonesia.

Abstract

Job Satisfaction merupakan aspek penting dalam pengelolaan sumber daya manusia pada Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) yang menghadapi tuntutan birokrasi, regulasi ketat, dan ekspektasi pelayanan publik yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan memvalidasi instrumen Job Satisfaction yang sesuai dengan karakteristik ASN di Indonesia. Penelitian menggunakan desain kuantitatif dengan pendekatan pengembangan dan validasi instrumen. Instrumen disusun berdasarkan kerangka teoretis Paul E. Spector (1997) yang mencakup sembilan aspek: pay, promotion, supervision, benefits, contingent rewards, operating procedures, coworkers, nature of work, dan communication. Pengembangan instrumen meliputi uji validitas isi melalui expert judgment (N=5) menggunakan Aiken’s V, pilot study pada 30 ASN, serta pengujian lanjutan pada 377 ASN. Analisis data mencakup korelasi antaritem, daya beda item, reliabilitas internal, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), Average Variance Extracted (AVE), dan Composite Reliability. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan instrumen memiliki validitas isi tinggi, reliabilitas sangat baik, serta struktur dua faktor yang didukung oleh hasil EFA dan CFA. Instrumen dinyatakan valid dan reliabel untuk mengukur kepuasan kerja ASN.
