Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in the progress of a nation by instilling life values. However, students' need for more talent and interest in school activities poses a significant challenge. Thus, school innovation is necessary, including in teaching and extracurricular activities, such as Rohis (Islamic religious extracurricular) activities, which play a vital role in developing students' talents and interests. The research focus is: 1) How is the implementation of planning for Rohis extracurricular activities in developing the talents and interests of students at State Junior High School 13 Jember? 2) How is the implementation of Rohis extracurricular activities in developing the talents and interests of students at State Junior High School 13 Jember? 3) How is the evaluation of the implementation of Rohis extracurricular activities in developing the talents and interests of students at State Junior High School 13 Jember? This study aims to: 1) Analyze the planning for implementing Rohis extracurricular activities in developing the talents and interests of students at SMP Negeri 13 Jember. 2) Analyze the implementation of Rohis extracurricular activities in developing the talents and interests of students at State Junior High School 13 Jember. 3) Analyze the evaluation of the implementation of Rohis extracurricular activities in developing the talents and interests of students at State Junior High School 13 Jember. The approach used in this research is qualitative with a case study research design. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, and documentation. This research utilizes qualitative descriptive analysis with the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana, which includes data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity employed through credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability techniques. The results of this research indicated that: 1) Planning for Rohis extracurricular activities includes needs analysis, goal setting, and program planning. 2) The implementation of Rohis extracurricular activities includes stimulus provision by the mentor to students, the use of various methods and media, and a primary focus on activities that support students' talents and interests in Rohis extracurricular. 3) Evaluation of extracurricular activities includes attendance records of students and practical exams as indicators of process and outcomes.
