Abstract

UMKM Buket Jurnalis is a small business engaged in selling artificial flower bouquets, fresh flowers, and supporting products such as gift boxes and standing flowers. Established in late 2021, the business has grown gradually in response to market demand. This study aims to identify and analyze the various risks faced by UMKM Buket Jurnalis and to determine appropriate mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study through direct interviews with the business owner. The findings indicate that UMKM Buket Jurnalis faces six main categories of risk: market, financial, marketing, operational, human resources, and legal risks. The most significant risks include fluctuating seasonal demand, rising raw material costs, and limited workforce capacity during peak periods. The mitigation strategies applied involve quality control, market price evaluation, customer service improvement, inventory There are no sources in the current document.anagement, and employee training. By implementing effective risk management practices, UMKM Buket Jurnalis is expected to enhance its competitiveness and maintain sustainable business performance within the increasingly competitive florist industry.

Abstract

This study explores various risks faced by Mimi Taylor MSME, a home-based sewing service business that has been operating since 1997. The analyzed risks include market risks, marketing risks, financial risks, operational risks, human resources risks, and legal aspects. The research method employs a descriptive qualitative approach through field observations and direct interviews with the business owner. The study results indicate that operational and marketing risks are the most prominent, particularly those related to delays in order completion, equipment damage, lack of promotion, and dependence on existing customers. Risk matrix analysis is conducted based on ISO 31000 principles, followed by the design of mitigation strategies for each major risk. This study emphasizes the significance of implementing structured risk management to support the sustainability and competitiveness of small-scale sewing service businesses.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of risk management based on ISO 31000 in the Amanda Refill Water Depot, a small and medium enterprise (SME) located in Cibangkong, Bandung City. The purpose of this study is to identify potential risks, assess their likelihood and impact, and evaluate mitigation efforts in accordance with ISO 31000. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach through interviews and direct observation. The findings indicate that the main risks encountered include occasional machine damage, power outages, and leaking gallons, although these occur infrequently. The business’s strength lies in consistent cleanliness and customer trust, while weaknesses are found in the absence of online promotion and delivery services. A notable threat is the lack of a digital presence on Google Maps, which may reduce market visibility. The study concludes that while the depot informally applies risk management principles in daily operations, improvements are still needed in formal documentation, standard operating procedures, and digital adaptation to strengthen resilience and competitiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of risk management at Diva Salsabilla Niaga, a home-based industry engaged in the production and sale of knitted products. The business has been operating for five years and employs around 89 people, consisting of administrative staff, marketing personnel, production teams, and expedition workers. The products are sold offline and have recently begun to be marketed online through the TikTok platform. This research focuses on identifying the main risks faced by the business and the strategies implemented to maintain stable and efficient operations. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through direct interviews with the business owner. The findings show that the main risks faced include production failure, limited capital, lack of human resources, rising raw material prices, and changes in fashion trends and economic conditions. To address these challenges, the owner implements preventive measures such as producing based on orders, maintaining product quality control, preparing raw material stocks before peak seasons, and fostering effective communication and teamwork. Proper implementation of risk management enables Diva Salsabilla Niaga to maintain business continuity and serves as a crucial foundation for enhancing competitiveness in the creative knitting industry sector..
