Abstract

The use of Information Technology (IT) in distribution companies plays a crucial role in supporting operational efficiency, data accuracy, and business continuity. PT VWX is a stationery (ATK) distribution company that procures goods from factories and distributes them to suppliers in large quantities. The company relies on a centralized application provided by the head office and utilizes Microsoft Excel for data input processes. This dependency creates several IT-related risks, including human error in data entry, dependency on centralized systems, limited IT human resources, and outdated hardware specifications. This study aims to analyze IT risk management at PT VWX using the COBIT 5 framework, specifically the APO12 (Manage Risk) domain. The research method involved interviews with IT personnel and an analysis of the As-Is and To-Be conditions. The results indicate that the current IT risk management capability level is at Level 2 (Managed Process), which has not yet reached the targeted Level 3 (Established Process). Therefore, formal procedures, risk registers, and improved risk mitigation mechanisms are required to achieve more systematic and proactive IT risk management.

Abstract

Palembang's tourism sector increasingly relies on online reviews as visitor satisfaction indicators, yet the large volume of unstructured review data complicates manual analysis. This study aims to analyze visitor satisfaction patterns at Amanzi Waterpark Palembang using K-Means Clustering algorithm on 1,812 Google Maps reviews collected through web scraping techniques. The analytical process includes text preprocessing, TF-IDF weighting, TruncatedSVD dimensionality reduction, and clustering with k=5. Research findings identify five visitor experience segments: Family Recreation (12.4%, rating 4.69), General Positive Reviews (8.9%, rating 4.55), Cleanliness & Comfort (7.1%, rating 4.60), Mixed Reviews & Complaints (67.5%, rating 3.99), and English Language Reviews (4.1%, rating 4.57). Critical findings reveal that 67.5% of reviews fall into the cluster with the lowest rating, dominated by complaints regarding pool water cleanliness, operational system complexity, and perceived high prices. Service quality inconsistency is identified through differing cleanliness sentiments across clusters, indicating standards not consistently maintained especially during peak visit periods . This research provides practical contributions in the form of strategic recommendations for cleanliness improvement, payment system simplification, and quality control consistency, while academically enriching the literature on text mining applications in Indonesia's tourism sector.

Abstract

Perkembangan platform e-commerce mendorong peningkatan volume data transaksi yang sangat besar dan kompleks. Namun, data tersebut umumnya masih tersimpan dalam sistem operasional yang belum optimal untuk kebutuhan analisis jangka panjang dan pengambilan keputusan strategis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan data warehouse pada platform e-commerce VWX, khususnya pada kategori Pet Supplies, guna mendukung analisis bisnis secara multidimensi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan Kimball dengan model star schema, yang terdiri dari satu tabel fakta dan dua tabel dimensi. Data diperoleh dari hasil web scraping dan diproses melalui tahapan ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) menggunakan RapidMiner untuk memastikan kualitas, konsistensi, dan kesiapan data. Selanjutnya, data dianalisis menggunakan teknik OLAP seperti roll-up, drill-down, slice, dan dice untuk menggali informasi terkait performa produk, kategori, dan kualitas rating pelanggan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan data warehouse dengan model star schema mampu menyajikan data secara terstruktur dan mempermudah proses analisis, sehingga menghasilkan informasi yang relevan dan dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan yang lebih efektif pada platform e-commerce VWX.
