Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan film animasi terhadap pendidikan karakter tanggung jawab peserta didik kelas IV SDN 44 Mataram tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya karakter tanggung jawab sebagian peserta didik yang tercermin dari perilaku seperti tidak menjaga kebersihan sekolah, tidak menaati tata tertib, tidak memelihara fasilitas sekolah, serta tidak melaksanakan piket sesuai jadwal yang ditetapkan. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimental one-group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 32 peserta didik. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket dan wawancara, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji-t berpasangan (paired sample t-test) dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 24. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan film animasi terhadap peningkatan karakter tanggung jawab peserta didik. Setelah perlakuan diberikan, peserta didik menunjukkan peningkatan tanggung jawab dalam menjaga kebersihan sekolah, menaati tata tertib, memelihara fasilitas, serta melaksanakan jadwal piket dengan disiplin. Dengan demikian, film animasi dapat dibuktikan sebagai media pembelajaran yang efektif dan menarik dalam menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai karakter tanggung jawab pada peserta didik sekolah dasar. The Influence of Animated Films on Character Education of Grade IV Students of SDN 44 Mataram In 2024/2025 This study was conducted to analyze the effect of using animated films on the character education of responsibility among fourth-grade students at SDN 44 Mataram in the 2024/2025 academic year. The background of this research lies in the low level of responsibility character observed among some students, as reflected in behaviors such as not maintaining school cleanliness, disobeying school rules, neglecting school facilities, and failing to perform classroom duties according to the assigned schedule. A quantitative research method was applied, using a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of this study consisted of 32 students. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews, and analyzed using a paired sample t-test with the assistance of SPSS version 24. The results revealed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that there was a significant effect of using animated films on improving students’ responsibility character. After the treatment was implemented, students demonstrated higher levels of responsibility in maintaining school cleanliness, following school regulations, taking care of school facilities, and performing their classroom duties according to schedule.Therefore, animated films have been proven to be an effective and engaging learning medium for internalizing the values of responsibility character among elementary school students.
