Abstract

The success of DHF management is greatly influenced by community engagement in the form of social media, behavioral attitudes, knowledge expansion, and community empowerment. Lemongrass spray is one method of DHF management. Using natural components like lemongrass extract, anti-mosquito lemongrass sheets are an innovative way to offer additional protection against moquito bites. Lemongrass works well as a natural repellent since mosquitoes are known to dislike its scent. Lemongrass extract is sprayed on the skin or in the air to create this spray. This spray’s primary benefit is that it repels mosquitoes without the use of dangerous chemicals, making it safer to use. The initiative to use lemongrass as a base material for mosquito repellent spray becomes a great example of the application of academic knowledge to solve practical problems in the community. In addition to providing direct benefits, in terms of protection from mosquitoes, this project also raises awareness of the potential of herbal plants and teaches how to make environmentally friendly products. By continuing to involve and empower residents, efforts like this contribute to better community health and well-being.
