Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam rangka memenuhi tugas Pendidikan Profesi Guru tahun pembelajaran 2024/2025. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi langsung dan dokumentasi pada kegiatan Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) bertema lingkungan hidup di SMP Negeri 1 Surabaya. Fokus penelitian ini adalah mengkaji proses kreatif siswa dalam kegiatan melukis pada media tote bag yang meliputi tahapan persiapan, perenungan, inspirasi, dan pembentukan. Kegiatan P5 melukis pada tote bag tidak hanya menjadi sarana bagi siswa untuk mengekspresikan kreativitas, tetapi juga berperan penting dalam menumbuhkan kesadaran dan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh siswa kelas VIII A hingga D dengan mengusung tema zero waste. Sebelum pelaksanaan kegiatan praktik, siswa dibekali materi pendahuluan oleh guru pendamping P5 di masing-masing kelas. Adapun alat dan bahan yang digunakan meliputi tote bag polos berwarna putih, cat akrilik, kuas lukis, palet, air, dan pensil. Melalui kegiatan P5 ini, siswa diharapkan mampu meningkatkan motivasi untuk menjaga kebersihan lingkungan serta mengurangi jumlah sampah, khususnya penggunaan kantong plastik sekali pakai, sejalan dengan tema zero waste yang diangkat.Kata kunci: proses; kreatif; melukis; Profil Pelajar Pancasila; P5---Students’ Creative Process in P5 Activities with an Environmental Theme: Painting on Tote Bags at SMPN 1 Surabaya. This study was conducted as part of the requirements for the Teacher Professional Education Program (Pendidikan Profesi Guru) in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through direct observation and documentation during the implementation of the Project for Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile (Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila/P5) with an environmental theme at SMP Negeri 1 Surabaya. The focus of this study was to examine students’ creative processes in painting activities using tote bags as the medium, which included the stages of preparation, reflection, inspiration, and formation. The P5 tote bag painting activity not only served as a medium for students to express their creativity but also played an important role in fostering environmental awareness and concern. The activity involved students from classes VIII A to D and was carried out under the theme of zero waste. Prior to the practical activity, students received preliminary instruction from P5 supervising teachers in each class. The tools and materials used included plain white tote bags, acrylic paint, paintbrushes, palettes, water, and pencils. Through this P5 activity, students were expected to increase their motivation to maintain environmental cleanliness and reduce waste, particularly the use of single-use plastic bags, in line with the zero waste theme.Keywords: process; creative; painting; Pancasila Student Profile; P5
