Abstract

Abstrak: Rendahnya kesadaran Cuci Tangan Pakai Sabun (CTPS) pada Tingkat siswa sekolah dasar meningkatkan risiko penularan penyakit seperti diare dan ISPA. Kegiatan pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pada siswa kelas 5 SDN Karangsirna dalam menerapkan CTPS sesuai tujuh Langkah standar WHO. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan interaktif, pemutaran video edukasi, penempelan poster panduan, dan praktik langsung. Kegiatan diikuti 34 siswa dengan evaluasi melalui tanya jawab menggunakan 10 pertanyaan yang disusun untuk mengukur pemahaman siswa mengenai pentingya Cuci Tangan Pakai Sabun (CTPS). Indikator keberhasilan kegiatan ini ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan hasil yang signifikan, di mana 85% siswa mampu menghafal dan mempraktikan CTPS dengan benar, serta meningkatnya frekuensi mencuci tangan di waktu penting. Program ini efektif mengembangkan softskill berupa kesadaran Kesehatan dan hardskill keterampilan mencuci tangan.Abstrak: The low awareness of Hand Washing with Soap (CTPS) among elementary school students increases the risk of disease transmission such as diarrhea and respiratory infections. This community service activity aims to enhance knowledge and skills among 5th-grade students at Karangsirna Elementary School in applying CTPS according to the seven standard steps by WHO. The methods used include interactive counseling, educational video screenings, poster guide postings, and hands-on practice. The activity was attended by 34 students with evaluations conducted through a Q&A using 10 questions designed to assess students' understanding of the importance of Hand Washing with Soap (CTPS). The success indicators of this activity are shown by a significant improvement, where 85% of students were able to memorize and correctly practice CTPS, as well as an increase in the frequency of handwashing at critical times. This program is effective in developing soft skills related to health awareness and hard skills in handwashing techniques.
