Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan kecerdasan emosional dengan keterampilan teknik dasar bola voli pada siswa ekstrakurikuler di SMP Negeri Purworejo. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode survei desain korelasional, melibatkan 20 siswa sebagai subjek penelitian. Hasil analisis menunjukkan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,889 dengan nilai signifikansi p = 0,000 < 0,05, yang menandakan adanya hubungan yang sangat kuat dan signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dan keterampilan teknik dasar bola voli. Kesimpulannya, kecerdasan emosional berperan penting dalam meningkatkan keterampilan teknik dasar bola voli siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between arm muscle strength and hand-eye coordination to the underhand passing of volleyball at SMAN 1 Candipuro. The method used is the correlational method. The research sample consisted of 20 people. The research instruments used were push-ups, throwing and catching the ball and underhand passing of volleyball. The research hypothesis: 1) there is a relationship between arm muscle strength and underhand passing, 2) there is a relationship between hand-eye coordination and underhand passing, 3) there is a relationship between arm muscle strength and hand-eye coordination to underhand passing. The results of the study showed that: 1) there is a significant relationship between arm muscle strength and underhand passing (r count = 0.504 > r table = 0.468), 2) there is a significant relationship between hand-eye coordination and underhand passing (r count = 0.507 > r table = 0.468), 3) Simultaneously, arm muscle strength and hand-eye coordination to underhand passing (r count = 0.750 > r table = 0.468) and a contribution of 56.35%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of visual training and agility ladder practice on the dribbling ability of students aged 10–12 years at SSB Gantimulyo, East Lampung. This study used an experimental method with a pretest-posttest two-group design. The experimental group received treatment in the form of a visual training program combined with agility ladder practice, which involved agility exercises integrated with visual stimuli to improve players’ coordination and reaction speed while dribbling. The sample consisted of 30 athletes selected using the Ordinal Pairing technique. The results showed that: 1) there was a significant effect of visual training and agility ladder practice on dribbling ability, with the t-test result at a 5% significance level (0.05) showing a t-value of 6.821 greater than the t-table value of 2.160; 2) there was a significant effect of agility ladder practice on dribbling ability, with a t-value of 5.832 greater than the t-table value of 2.160; and 3) there was a significant difference between the visual training and agility ladder practice group and the agility ladder practice group on dribbling ability, with a two-tailed test analysis at a significance level of 0.05 showing a t-value of 2.136 greater than the t-table value of 2.048.
