Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of bullying behavior on elementary school students at SD Negeri 071028 Luzamanu. The research method used was qualitative with a descriptive approach. The study subjects consisted of the principal, teachers, and students. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that bullying behavior occurring in schools includes verbal, physical, and social bullying. The most common forms of bullying were teasing, insulting, threatening, hitting, and ostracizing peers. The impact of bullying on students is evident in their emotional, social, and academic well-being. Victims of bullying become more withdrawn, lack self-confidence, are afraid to interact, have difficulty concentrating while studying, and experience a decline in academic achievement. Factors contributing to bullying include the family environment, social interactions, lack of supervision, and the influence of social media. School efforts to address bullying include character development, teacher supervision, counseling, and collaboration with parents. Therefore, the attention and cooperation of all parties is needed to create a safe, comfortable, and bullying-free school environment.
