Abstract

Digital developments in the banking sector have led to innovations such as mobile banking and fintech. Bank Jago is a technology-based bank in Indonesia. Although digital literacy is increasing, digital bank account ownership among Generations Z and Y remains low. This study uses the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework to analyze the factors that influence the intention to use Bank Jago's digital services, without comparing between generations. Data was collected through an online survey using convenience sampling of 230 Generation Z and Y respondents in Indonesia, using a 1–5 Likert scale questionnaire. The results show that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, trust, attitude, and convenience have a positive effect on intention to use, while trust has a negative effect on attitude. These findings emphasize the importance of perceived usefulness, ease of use, trust, convenience, and attitude in encouraging the adoption of digital banking services.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia often face limited marketing budgets, making cost-effective strategies crucial. One emerging approach is leveraging nano and micro influencers, who maintain closer engagement with audiences than larger-scale influencers. This study analyzes the impact of influencer credibility—attractiveness, trustworthiness, and expertise—on parasocial interaction (PSI) and purchase intention (PI), and compares differences between nano and micro influencers. Using a quantitative design, data were collected from 170 respondents through an online survey targeting skincare industry followers. Analysis employed Partial Least Square–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) and Multi Group Analysis (MGA). Results confirm that influencer credibility positively and significantly affects both PSI and PI (H1–H6 accepted), while PSI also significantly influences PI (H7 accepted). Comparative analysis shows no significant differences across most hypotheses (H8–H14 rejected), except H13, which reveals that nano influencers’ expertise exerts a stronger impact on PI. These findings demonstrate that influencer credibility directly drives PSI and PI, with PSI reinforcing PI. Practically, the study highlights the value of both nano and micro influencers as viable digital marketing strategies for MSMEs, with nano influencers’ expertise offering a distinct advantage in boosting purchase intention.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Cause-Related Marketing (CRM) on consumer buying interest in skincare products in Indonesia, especially through environmental care campaigns. With increasing public awareness of sustainability issues, skincare companies are competing to adopt marketing strategies that focus on social and environmental responsibility. This study uses a quantitative approach with an online survey method of 104 male respondents who use skincare products. The analysis was carried out using a reflective measurement model to test the relationship between variables such as Cause Participation, Congruence between Product and Cause, Attitude Toward the Cause, Willingness to Pay More, and Purchase Intention. The results of the study show that Cause Participation has a significant positive influence on Attitude Toward the Cause and Purchase Intention. Similarly, Attitude Toward the Cause has a positive effect on Willingness to Pay More and Purchase Intention. However, Congruence between Product and Cause has no significant effect on Purchase Intent. These findings confirm that consumer involvement in environmental care campaigns plays a greater role in building purchase intent than the match between the product and the cause carried. The practical implications of this study provide insights for skincare companies to optimize environmental campaigns as an effective and sustainable marketing strategy.
