Abstract

Family health is influenced not only by physical conditions but also by mental and social factors, including the economic situation of the family. The rapid development of financial technology, particularly online lending, provides easier access to financial services but also poses risks to the community, especially related to economic pressure and family mental health. This community service activity aimed to improve public knowledge and awareness of family health through financial literacy education and online loan prevention. The activity was conducted in Tamansari Village, Mranggen District, Demak Regency, using counseling sessions, discussions, and evaluation through pre-test and post-test methods. The results showed a significant increase in community knowledge across all indicators, including understanding the impact of online loans on family mental health, which increased from 40% to 90%, and awareness of the importance of communication and financial transparency within families, which increased from 50% to 93%. This activity generated positive social impacts, such as increased collective awareness, more cautious financial decision-making, and strengthened family roles in maintaining health. Therefore, financial literacy education can serve as an effective promotive and preventive strategy for improving family health in the community

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat bertema “Mencetak Edukator Hukum dari Siswa Madrasah untuk Kampanye Anti Judi Online” dilaksanakan di SMA Ky Ageng Giri dengan tujuan membentuk siswa madrasah sebagai edukator hukum muda dalam mencegah maraknya praktik judi online. Program ini meliputi pelatihan hukum, penguatan nilai-nilai keagamaan, pelatihan komunikasi publik, serta workshop pembuatan media kampanye. Evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan terhadap pemahaman siswa terkait aspek hukum, dampak sosial-ekonomi, serta larangan judi dalam Islam. Nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat dari 5,8 menjadi 8,4, disertai pergeseran kategori penilaian dari “kurang” menjadi “baik” dan “sangat baik.” Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan Training of Trainer (ToT) efektif dalam membentuk agen perubahan yang mampu menyampaikan pesan hukum dan moral secara persuasif. Program ini diharapkan mampu menumbuhkan literasi hukum, kesadaran digital positif, dan budaya anti-judi online secara berkelanjutan di lingkungan madrasah dan masyarakat.The community service program titled “Training Madrasah Students as Legal Educators for an Anti-Online Gambling Campaign” was conducted at SMA Ky Ageng Giri with the aim of preparing madrasah students to become young legal educators who actively promote awareness of the dangers of online gambling. The program consisted of legal literacy training, reinforcement of Islamic values, public communication skills, and workshops for producing educational campaign media. Evaluation using pre-test and post-test demonstrated a significant improvement in students’ understanding of legal provisions, the social and economic impacts of online gambling, and Islamic prohibitions regarding gambling. The average score increased from 5.8 to 8.4, with a notable shift from lower performance categories to “good” and “excellent.” These results indicate that the Training of Trainer (ToT) approach is effective in shaping student change agents capable of communicating legal and moral messages persuasively. The program is expected to foster long-term legal literacy, positive digital awareness, and a sustainable anti-online-gambling culture within madrasah communities and the surrounding society.
