Abstract

The Society 5.0 era is a concept of modern society that emphasizes the integration of the physical and digital worlds to create a balance between economic progress and social welfare. Millennials, as a group that grew up in the digital era, have great potential to drive economic transformation through technology-based entrepreneurial activities. This study aims to analyze the response of the millennial generation to the Society 5.0 era through digital entrepreneurship and identify the factors that influence it. The method used is qualitative with a library research approach through searching various scientific sources published from 2018 to 2025. Based on the results of the study, it is suspected that millennials have a positive response to digital entrepreneurship due to their characteristics of being adaptive to technology, creative, and innovative in creating new business opportunities. However, challenges such as low digital literacy in some regions, limited access to technology, and dependence on digital platforms are still obstacles that need to be addressed. Overall, digital entrepreneurship has the potential to be a strategic means for millennials to realize a Society 5.0 that is oriented towards people, innovation, and social welfare.
