This study was conducted to analyze the relationship between perception and level of awareness of students of SMAN 02 Wonogiri in facing climatological disasters. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative method. Data were collected through a survey using a questionnaire filled out by 251 students selected through a purposive sampling technique. The variables in the study include student perception and level of awareness. According to Arum Ariningtyas, indicators of student perception include knowledge, understanding, and application and indicators of student awareness include knowledge, attitudes, and actions. The data analysis technique was carried out using the Spearman Rank correlation test to determine the relationship between perception and level of awareness. The results of this study indicate a weak positive relationship between "Perception" and "Level of Awareness" meaning that when the value of "Perception" increases, the value of "Level of Awareness" tends to increase, but the relationship is not too strong. This study is expected to contribute to the development of more effective disaster education programs in schools, especially in areas prone to climatological disasters. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara persepsi dan tingkat kesadaran siswa SMAN 02 Wonogiri dalam menghadapi bencana klimatologis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode asosiatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui survei menggunakan kuesioner yang diisi oleh 251 siswa yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Variabel dalam penelitian meliputi persepsi siswa dan tingkat kesadaran siswa. Menurut Arum Ariningtyas, indikator persepsi siswa meliputi pengetahuan, pemahaman, serta penerapan dan indikator tingkat kesadaran siswa meliputi pengetahuan, sikap, serta tindakan. Teknik analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji korelasi Rank Spearman untuk mengetahui hubungan antara persepsi dan tingkat kesadaran. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang lemah antara "Persepsi" dan "Tingkat Kesadaran" artinya ketika nilai "Persepsi" meningkat, maka nilai "Tingkat Kesadaran" cenderung ikut meningkat, tetapi hubungan tersebut tidak terlalu kuat. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan program pendidikan kebencanaan yang lebih efektif di sekolah-sekolah, terutama di wilayah rawan bencana klimatologis.
