Abstract

Bullying is a social problem that can negatively impact children’s psychological well-being, emotional stability, and social development, especially if it is not identified and addressed at an early stage. Exposure to bullying during childhood may lead to long-term consequences such as low self-esteem, academic difficulties, social withdrawal, and even mental health issues. Therefore, preventive efforts are crucial to equip children with knowledge, awareness, and coping strategies. This community service activity was carried out through the Perma Curug Community Reading Garden (TBM) in Serang City with the primary goal of educating and supporting young children in preventing bullying. The methods used included interactive counseling sessions where children were introduced to the concept of bullying, its forms, and its harmful effects; educational games that helped children engage with the material in a fun and memorable way; and small group discussions that encouraged children to share their thoughts and experiences while practicing empathy and respect. The results of the activity indicated an increase in children’s awareness and understanding regarding the importance of respecting others, recognizing bullying behaviors, and the need to report or resist such actions. Moreover, the program also fostered a sense of togetherness and cooperation among participants. This initiative is expected to be a starting point for instilling anti-bullying values from an early age, while at the same time encouraging families, educators, and the wider community to actively contribute to creating a safe, supportive, and positive environment for children’s growth and development

Abstract

Majelis taklim, As a non-formal Islamic educational institution, the Majelis Taklim (Islamic study group) plays a crucial role in fostering religious community, particularly in the modern era, marked by technological advancements, social dynamics, and changes in the community's lifestyle. This study aims to analyze the opportunities and challenges of Majelis Taklim in the modern era from a sociological perspective, using a case study of the Majelis Manbaul Irvani Walhikmah (Islamic study group) in Serang City. This research method uses a qualitative approach, collecting data through observation and interviews. The results indicate that Majelis Taklim has significant potential to expand the reach of Islamic preaching through digital media, improve the quality of technology-based learning, and strengthen religious social networks among its members. However, in this modern era, Majelis Taklim faces several challenges, including a lack of technological literacy among its members, competition with religious content on social media that is not always credible, and changes in the younger generation's interest in traditional religious activities. From a sociological perspective, Majelis Taklim maintains a strategic position as an agent of social transformation and guardian of religious values, but requires continuous innovation to adapt to the needs of modern society.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the existence of the Serang City Branch Executive Board of Nahdlatul Ulama (PCNU) as an instrument of Islamic da'wah and social development. This research employed a qualitative method using interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. The results show that PCNU Serang City plays an active role in strengthening Ahlussunnah wal Jama'ah values through religious activities, education, cadre development, and digital da'wah. Furthermore, PCNU contributes to social development through community empowerment programs, economic strengthening, humanitarian activities, and collaboration with local government. The Bahtsul Masail program serves as a forum for addressing religious and social issues within society. Therefore, PCNU Serang City functions not only as a da'wah organization but also as an agent of social development that promotes Islamic, national, and social values.

Abstract

This study discusses the optimization of da’wah management in managing differences and strengthening unity among Islamic community organizations in Indonesia. Differences in views, da’wah methods, and organizational backgrounds often become dynamics within the life of Muslim society. In the digital era, the development of social media and online communication platforms also influences the pattern of da’wah and the relationships among Islamic organizations. This study aims to examine the concept of da’wah management from an Islamic perspective, the dynamics of differences among Islamic organizations, da’wah communication strategies in managing differences, and the role of religious leaders in maintaining Muslim unity. The research method used is library research by analyzing various literature sources and a YouTube video from the Log In program episode entitled “ORMAS ISLAM BERSATU.” The results show that da’wah management carried out in a directed, communicative, and adaptive manner toward technological developments can strengthen Islamic brotherhood (ukhuwah Islamiyah). In addition, da’wah approaches that emphasize politeness, moderation, and dialogue are considered capable of reducing conflicts caused by differences in views among Islamic groups. Religious leaders also play an important role in creating a harmonious atmosphere through tolerance, exemplary attitudes, and calming communication. Therefore, the optimization of proper da’wah management is expected to maintain the unity of Muslims amid diversity
