Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has had a significant impact on the world of education, including at the elementary school level. This research was conducted with the aim of examining and identifying the opportunities and challenges faced by teachers in adapting to the technology in learning. The methodology used in this research is a Systematic Literature Review, with data collected through a literature review. This study uses a literature review method with a narrative approach, utilizing various sources such as scientific journals, official documents, and books. Data were collected through specific keyword searches in academic databases, then synthesized descriptively and analytically. AI research in elementary schools is still in its early stages, characterized by the use of simple algorithm-based applications such as Google Classroom, Quizziz, and Kahoot. AI offers significant opportunities to improve learning effectiveness, such as through automated feedback and analysis of student learning data. However, various challenges remain, including limited infrastructure, limited teacher digital literacy, and the absence of policies supporting systemic AI integration. This research highlights the importance of strengthening teacher competencies, improving technological infrastructure, and providing inclusive policy support to achieve sustainable and equitable AI-based learning in elementary schools. This study is expected to provide useful insights for academics and practitioners in optimizing the use of AI for learning and beginning to coexist with AI, rather than being replaced by it.Perkembangan teknologi Artificial Intelligence (AI) sudah membawa pengaruh besar dalam dunia pendidikan, termasuk pada jenjang SD. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mengkaji dan mengidentifikasi peluang dan tantangan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam pembelajaran yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam proses adaptasi teknologi tersebut. Metodologi di penelitian ini yaitu Systematic Literature Review, dengan data yang dikumpulkan melalui kajian literatur review. Penelitian ini mempergunakan metode tinjauan literatur dengan pendekatan naratif, memanfaatkan berbagai sumber seperti jurnal ilmiah, dokumen resmi, dan buku. Data dikumpulkan melalui pencarian kata kunci spesifik di basis data akademik, kemudian disintesis secara deskriptif dan analitis. Hasil penelitian AI di sekolah dasar masih berada pada tahap awal, ditandai dengan penggunaan aplikasi   berbasis algoritma sederhana seperti Google Classroom, Quizziz, dan Kahoot. AI memberikan peluang besar dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran, seperti umpan balik otomatis dan analisis data pembelajaran siswa. Namun, berbagai tantangan masih dihadapi, antara lain keterbatasan infrastruktur, minimnya literasi digital guru, serta belum adanya kebijakan yang mendukung integrasi AI secara sistemik. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan pentingnya penguatan kompetensi guru, peningkatan infrastruktur teknologi, dan dukungan kebijakan yang inklusif untuk mewujudkan pembelajaran berbasis AI yang berkelanjutan dan merata di sekolah dasar. Kajian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan yang berguna bagi akademisi dan praktisi dalam mengoptimalkan penggunaan AI untuk pembelajaran dan memulai untuk hidup berdampingan dengan AI bukan digantikan AI.
