Abstract

As professionals, teachers play a central role in designing, implementing, and assessing learning processes to ensure optimal success. The purpose of this study was to analyze teacher readiness for the Independent Curriculum (IPS) science learning in fourth-grade classes at MI Muhammadiyah Grubug. Data collection techniques used included interviews, observation, and documentation. The results indicate that the implementation of IPS learning in fourth-grade classes at MI Muhammadiyah Grubug only met several criteria for teacher cognitive and financial readiness, as evidenced by the development of teaching materials, the use of learning resources, and the learning process and assessment. This is evident in the lack of independent implementation of teaching materials and the limitations of several learning processes, such as the suboptimal implementation of differentiated learning. Therefore, teacher readiness and the IPS learning process still require improvement in terms of teacher competency development and learning support, particularly access to the Merdeka Mengajar Platform.Sebagai tenaga professional, guru memiliki peran sentral dalam mendesain, mengimplementasikan, dan menilai jalannya pembelajaran agar berlangsung secara optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis kesiapan guru dalam pembelajaran IPAS Kurikulum Merdeka di kelas IV MI Muhammadiyah Grubug. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPAS di kelas IV MI Muhammadiyah Grubug baru memenuhi beberapa kriteria kesiapan kognitif guru dan kesiapan finansial yakni dapat dilihat dari penyusunan perangkat ajar, pemanfaatan sumber belajar serta proses dan penilaian pembelajaran. Terlihat dari penyusunan perangkat ajar yang belum dilaksanakan secara mandiri, dan beberapa proses pembelajaran yang masih terbatas, seperti belum optimalnya pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Untuk itu, kesiapan guru dan proses pembelajaran IPAS masih memerlukan peningkatan dari segi pembekalan kompetensi guru dan dukungan fasilitas pembelajaran terutama memiliki akses Platform Merdeka Mengajar.
