Abstract

Pengembangan pada dasarnya dilakukan untuk memenuhi tuntutan  kebutuhan hidup manusia yang semakin meningkat dengan tuntutan kinerja yang lebih efisien dan  hasil yang lebih efektif. Pengembangan dilakukan dengan tujuan meningkatkan kualitas dari sebuah produk yang sedang dikembangkan. Analisis Pengembangan sistem informasi penerimaa peserta didik baru akan dilakukan menggunakan metode Research & Developmnet (R & D) dengan model Borg and Gall. R & D merupakan  kegiatan penelitian yang diawali dengan  research  lalu dilanjutkan dengan  development. Kegiatan  research dikerjakan untuk memperoleh informasi tentang berbagai macam  kebutuhan pengguna, sedang kegiatan development dikerjakan dengan tujuan menghasilkan produk. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah metode R & D menjadi metode yang layak  digunakan  dalam pengembangan sistem dengan hasil yang tepat waktu, akurat, relevan, efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

The admission activity of new students is an administrative process that is sure to occur every new school year and always repeats every year as a starting point for the search for quality resources in accordance with the criteria of each school. Selection is done manually such as using a spreadsheet or number processor still raises several problems including the length of the selection process. At the time of the participant selection process, it involved many criteria that were assessed (multi criteria). Efforts to assist the school in selecting participants from the results considered to be acceptable results require a decision support system for selecting new students. The method used to support students' selection decisions is AHP and SAW. AHP method is used to determine the weight of predetermined criteria, while the SAW method is used for alternative ranking. The purpose of alternative ranking is who has the right to be accepted as a new student based on predetermined criteria.

Abstract

Kereta api sering melewati pemukiman dan jalan raya, sehingga diperlukan palang pintu sebagai tanda bagi pengendara dan pejalan kaki untuk berhenti saat kereta melintas. Namun, banyak palang pintu yang masih beroperasi secara manual, meningkatkan risiko kecelakaan akibat kelalaian operator atau ketidaksabaran pengguna jalan. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, diperlukan sistem otomatisasi palang pintu kereta api berbasis IoT yang dapat dikendalikan dari jarak jauh, guna meningkatkan keselamatan dan efisiensi. Prototype palang pintu kereta api otomatis dalam penelitian ini memanfaatkan ESP32, sensor infrared, motor servo, dan aplikasi Telegram. Pengembangan sistem mengikuti metode Extreme Programming yang terdiri dari empat tahapan: perencanaan, desain, pemrograman, dan pengujian. Hasil pengujian dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sensor infrared dapat mendeteksi objek dari jarak 1 hingga 7 cm dan bekerja dengan sudut deteksi antara 10 hingga 100 derajat. Ketika objek mainan kereta api didekatkan ke sensor, LED indikator menyala merah, menandakan adanya objek, dan servo langsung bergerak untuk menutup palang kereta api hingga 100 derajat. Setelah 5 detik, servo kembali ke posisi awal 10 derajat, dan LED berubah menjadi kuning, menandakan bahwa objek sudah tidak ada.

Abstract

Abstract Unemployment is a short-term economic problem that significantly affects social conditions and public welfare. The Open Unemployment Rate (OUR) serves as an important indicator to measure unemployment levels. In Indonesia, OUR data are periodically published by the Central Bureau of Statistics (Badan Pusat Statistik, BPS) by province and year. Analyzing these data helps identify regions with high or low unemployment rates to support effective labor policy formulation. This study applies the K-Means clustering algorithm to classify Indonesia’s open unemployment rate using four distance metrics: Euclidean, Manhattan, Chebyshev, and Cosine Similarity. The clustering performance was evaluated using the Davies-Bouldin Index (DBI) to determine the best distance metric. The results indicate that Chebyshev Distance produced the best cluster quality with a DBI value of 0.606, while Cosine Similarity yielded the poorest result with a DBI of 1.445. Therefore, Chebyshev Distance is recommended as the most suitable distance metric for clustering Indonesia’s open unemployment rate using the K-Means algorithm.
