Abstract

Kelplink is an AI-powered mobile and web-based platform developed to digitally transform India’s seaweed farming ecosystem. The system integrates artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and multilingual accessibility to enhance productivity, transparency, and environmental sustainability. It empowers farmers to identify seaweed species, detect toxicity, manage cultivation, and connect directly with certified buyers through a secure, traceable marketplace. The platform also features encrypted messaging, two-factor authentication, and AI-based sustainability dashboards that estimate carbon sequestration and biodiversity impact. Built with Next.js, Node.js, and MongoDB Atlas, and deployed on AWS Cloud, Kelplink ensures scalability, offline access, and data protection. Testing results show improvements in digital literacy, operational transparency, and market participation. Future developments will include blockchain, IoT, and predictive analytics integration to position Kelplink as a pioneering solution in India’s Blue Economy and Digital Ocean missions.
