Abstract

The application of a mixture of Coconut Milk and Degan Coconut Water formulated with Musa paradisiaca Dregs can improve the fertility and health of Inceptisol soils which are nutrient deficient or nutrient poor in Inceptisol soils. The use of the three ingredients has important potential as the effectiveness of soil fertility, and the impact on soil health. Musa paradisiaca dregs contains rich nutrients, namely nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K), while coconut milk contains important nutrients and growth hormones that can refer to both plant growth, while Degan coconut water also contains rich nutrients, and also contains cytokinin hormones which play an important role in stimulating cell division and plant root growth. The conclusion is that Musa paradisiaca dregs, coconut milk and Degan coconut water can potentially increase the fertility of Inceptisol soil and can create liquid organic fertilizer as an environmentally friendly and effective fertilizer in applying to soil and plants.

Abstract

Green Eggplant (Solanum melongena L.) is a plant that is in great demand by all people. This green eggplant belongs to the solanaceae family and contains nutrients such as Vitamins A, B, C, Potassium, Phosphor, Iron, Protein, Fatty Acids and Carbohydrates. One of the ways to get good production results in Inceptisol and Inceptisol soil is to use forage fertilizer that has been composited into liquid due to complete nutrients such as N2 (2.2%), K2O (2.2%), P2O5 (3.65%), C (6.45%) and other nutrients, as well as the use of potassium nutrient fertilizer (60%) to be sufficient for the development and production of green eggplant plants. The indication of the research is because the Inceptisol soil has sufficient nutrients applied liquid green manure as much as 600 ml.polybag-1, and the soil has sufficient potassium nutrients as much as 15 g.polybag-1 and plants produce better green eggplant fruit than more or less potassium nutrients applied.

Abstract

Loamy soil is one of the characteristics of fertile soil, but basically loamy soil is not necessarily considered healthy soil. Soil fertility is determined by the dynamics of organic matter and the availability of essential macro nutrients contained in the soil. Loamy soil currently influences the decomposition process of organic matter in the soil. Inceptisol soil is a young soil type that continues to develop and has low to moderate organic matter content depending on the vegetation that occurs on the soil. In managing the fertility and health of Inceptisol soil, improvements are made by adding organic matter and understanding the dynamics of nutrients contained in Inceptisol soil. Soil fertility is a very important aspect in agriculture to support plant growth.

Abstract

Azotobacter bacteria are a type of bacteria that can capture nitrogen from the air and convert it into nutrients that can be absorbed by plants. This process is called nitrogen fixation, which is an important nutrient in plant growth. Azotobacter chroococcum and Azotobacter paspali bacteria are very useful for soil fertility. These bacteria maintain the balance of microbes in the soil and improve the physical properties of the soil, one of which is soil structure. With the addition of these bacteria to Ultisol soil, the Ultisol soil becomes more fertile and better due to the addition of plant fertilization using the Broadcast method, and the soil will be better at storing water and nutrients in the soil for the growth of Phaseolus radiatus (L.) Fabaceae. plants. In this study, the application of Azotobacter chroococcum and Azotobacter paspali bacteria formulated with the Broadcast fertilization method at a rate of 10 g.polybag-1 was the best treatment for the growth of Phaseolus radiatus (L.) Fabaceae. plants.
