<![CDATA[ABSTRACT Postpartum mothers often face various problems in the healing process of perineal wounds such as prolonged pain, swelling and slowing of the healing process. Researchers innovate in minimizing perineal wound infection and increasing the acceleration of wound healing by providing cinnamon extract Hydrogel as one of the non-pharmacological therapies containing active compounds such as flavonoids, tannins and alkaloids that have antibacterial properties. Analyze the effectiveness of cinnamon extract hydrogel (cinnamomum burmannii) on healing second degree perineal wounds in postpartum mothers. Quasy experimental study with pretest-posttest control group design, consisting of 2 groups. The population was all postpartum mothers at the Eka Setyowati Midwife Practice, S.Tr.Keb, Sendangmulya Village, Tembalang District, Semarang, Central Java with a sample size of 18 respondents in each group. The intervention was given cinnamon extract hydrogel (cinnamomum burmannii) for 7 days. Bivariate analysis using Friedman and Wilcoxon. Cinnamon extract hydrogel (cinnamomum burmannii) is effective in healing perineal wounds in postpartum mothers based on REEDA category (P=0.013), and Cinnamon extract hydrogel (cinnamomum burmannii) is effective in healing perineal wounds in postpartum mothers based on Interleukin-6 level measurement (P=0.004). Cinnamon extract hydrogel has been proven as an intervention that can be used to accelerate the healing of second degree perineal wounds in postpartum mothers. ABSTRAK Ibu postpartum sering menghadapi berbagai masalah dalam proses penyembuhan luka perineum seperti nyeri berkepanjangan, pembengkakan dan perlambatan proses penyembuhan. Peneliti berinovasi dalam meminimalisir infeksi luka perineum dan meningkatkan percepatan penyembuhan luka dengan memberikan Hydrogel ekstrak kayu manis sebagai salah satu terapi non farmakologis yang mengandung senyawa aktif seperti flavonoid, tannin dan alkaloida yang memiliki sifat antibakteri. Menganalisis efektivitas hydrogel ekstrak kayu manis (cinnamomum burmannii) terhadap penyembuhan luka perineum derajat dua ibu postpartum. Penelitian Quasy experimental denganpretest-postest control group design, terdiri dari 2 kelompok. Populasi adalah seluruh ibu postpartum dengan robekan derajat dua di Praktik Bidan Eka Setyowati, S.Tr.Keb, Kelurahan Sendangmulya Kecamatan Tembalang, Semarang Jawa Tengah dengan jumlah sampel 18 responden setiap kelompok. Intervensi diberikan hydrogel ekstrak kayu manis (cinnamomum burmannii) selama 7 hari. Analisis Bivariate mengunakan Friedman dan Wilcoxon. Hydrogel ekstrak kayu manis (cinnamomum burmannii) efektif terhadap penyembuhan luka perineum ibu postpartum berdasarkan kategori REEDA (P=0.013), dan Hydrogel ekstrak kayu manis (cinnamomum burmannii) efektif terhadap penyembuhan luka perineum ibu postpartum berdasarkan pengukuran kadar Interleukin-6 (P=0.004).
