Background: Quail is one of the poultry that has the potential for high egg production and can maintain production until around 15 months of age. Quail egg production in Indonesia reaches around 300 eggs per head per year. This high production potential indicates the importance of efforts to maintain and improve egg productivity and quality, one of which is using probiotics and herbal ingredients such as meniran (Phyllanthus niruri L.), which has the potential to support quail health and productivity. Factors that determine egg production and quality are genetics, age, environment, stress, and feed. Good quality feed will improve the quality of quail eggs. Purpose: To analyze the effect of providing a combination of probiotics with meniran herbs on the weight and color of quail egg yolks. Methods: Using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications, resulting in 20 experimental units. Each experimental unit consists of 5 laying quails. The research material was 100 laying quails (Coturnix coturnix japonica), which were kept in the production phase, namely from 8 weeks to 15 weeks of age. The study consisted of five treatments, namely P0 as a negative control in the form of commercial feed + 0.05% antibiotics; P1 as a positive control in the form of commercial feed + 0.5% EM4 probiotics; P2 in the form of commercial feed + 0.5% EM4 probiotics + 4% meniran herbal; P3 in the form of commercial feed + 0.5% EM4 probiotics + 8% meniran herbal; and P4 in the form of commercial feed + 0.5% EM4 probiotics + 12% meniran herbal. The variables observed in this study included egg yolk weight (g) and egg yolk color. Data analysis used analysis of variance (ANOVA). Results: The average yolk weight for P1 was 3.38 g, P2 3.30 g, P3 3.58 g, P4 3.43 g, and P5 3.25 g. The average yolk color for P1 was 7.40 g, P2 7.08 g, P3 7.08 g, P4 7.30 g, and P5 6.85 g. Analysis of variance showed that the combination of probiotics and meniran herb did not significantly affect egg yolk weight or color (P>0.05). Conclusion: The combination of probiotics and meniran herb in feed was not effective in increasing egg yolk weight and color intensity in quail.
