Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas perencanaan dan analisis kinerja sistem Penerangan Jalan Umum Tenaga Surya (PJU-TS) sebagai pengganti sistem PJU konvensional di kawasan PT. X. Implementasi dilakukan pada 53 titik pemasangan lampu yang tersebar di area pabrik tanpa mengubah tata letak tiang eksisting. Setiap unit PJU-TS dilengkapi satu modul panel surya, baterai, inverter, dan lampu LED, sehingga total kapasitas terpasang sistem mencapai 18,55 kWp. Perancangan sistem dilakukan melalui perhitungan teknis yang mempertimbangkan luas modul, kapasitas daya panel, kebutuhan beban lampu, durasi operasi harian, serta data radiasi matahari dan kondisi lingkungan setempat. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa pada tahun pertama pengoperasian, sistem PJU-TS diperkirakan mampu menghasilkan energi listrik sebesar 24,84 MWh per tahun. Produksi energi mengalami penurunan secara bertahap akibat degradasi modul surya, dengan estimasi produksi sebesar 23,74 MWh pada tahun ke-10 dan 22,02 MWh pada tahun ke-25. Meskipun terjadi penurunan, sistem tetap menunjukkan kinerja yang stabil dan mampu memenuhi kebutuhan energi penerangan jalan di kawasan pabrik. Secara kumulatif, total energi listrik yang dihasilkan selama 25 tahun masa operasi diperkirakan mencapai 585,14 MWh. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan PJU-TS di kawasan industri dapat dirancang secara teknis untuk memberikan kinerja yang andal dan berkelanjutan dalam jangka panjang.

Abstract

This research presents a comprehensive technical assessment of grid-connected rooftop and ground-mounted photovoltaic (PV) systems implemented in an industrial zone at PT. X, Gresik, East Java. The study incorporates site-specific analysis of available rooftop and open land areas, solar irradiation characteristics, and environmental parameters, including ambient temperature and wind speed. System performance was simulated using PVSyst version 8.0 based on primary field data and meteorological databases.Two PV system configurations were developed and analyzed. Scenario 1 utilized 450 Wp monocrystalline modules with 25 kW on-grid inverters, resulting in a total installed capacity of 510.30 kWp and an estimated annual energy production of 755.02 MWh. Scenario 2 employed 455 Wp monocrystalline modules with 33 kW grid-tied inverters, yielding an installed capacity of 492.62 kWp and an annual energy output of 711.77 MWh. The results indicate that ground-mounted systems on vacant land provide higher energy yields due to optimized module orientation and reduced shading losses, while rooftop systems offer substantial complementary contributions. Overall, the study confirms the technical feasibility and effectiveness of integrating large-scale PV systems in industrial areas to support energy efficiency and emission reduction targets.
