Abstract

Inclusive education plays a crucial role in providing equal opportunities for children with special needs, including children with intellectual disabilities. At SKH Al Ihsan 2 in Cilegon, the educational program for children with intellectual disabilities aims to develop their potential through a holistic approach that encompasses academic, social, and emotional aspects. The title "Melangkah Bersama: Menumbuhkan Kepercayaan Diri Anak Tuna Grahita di SKH Al Ihsan 2" reflects the school’s efforts to create a supportive, inclusive, and compassionate environment for children with intellectual disabilities. Through individualized learning, social activities that encourage interaction, and consistent emotional support, SKH Al Ihsan 2 focuses on fostering self-confidence in children with intellectual disabilities, helping them become more independent and resilient in facing life’s challenges. Furthermore, the program emphasizes the importance of parental and community involvement in the educational process to create a sense of togetherness and sustained support. With this approach, children with intellectual disabilities at SKH Al Ihsan 2 are expected to realize their full potential and step forward towards a brighter future.
