Abstract

This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a document analysis method to explore and analyze the Akidah Akhlak and Fiqh materials in depth. This study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the structure, content, relevance, and implications of learning both materials in forming quality Muslim characters. Data collection was carried out through a study of teaching materials, books, and related documents, which were then analyzed in depth to describe the relationship between theory and implementation in everyday life. The Akidah Akhlak material teaches the basics of faith in Allah SWT and noble character. The purpose of learning Akidah Akhlak is to instill strong faith, accustom students to commendable behavior, and form a strong Islamic character to face the challenges of the globalization era. Its scope includes aspects of faith, noble morals, Islamic manners, and exemplary stories. The Fikih material, as an integral part of religious education, provides practical guidelines for sharia law, including aspects of worship, muamalah, social ethics, to family and criminal law. The purpose of learning Fiqh is to guide students to understand and implement Islamic laws in various aspects of life, both individually and socially. Through this analysis, it was found that learning Akidah Akhlak and Fiqh has a strategic role in creating individuals who are faithful, have noble morals, and understand Islamic law as a whole. The results of this study are expected to be a contribution in the development of curriculum and implementation of religious education that is relevant to the needs of the times.
