Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon that occurred at SMA Negeri 2 Bukittinggi, namely there are some regular students who do not accept inclusion children from psychological, social and socio-emotional aspects, some regular students prefer to be friends with other regular students rather than making friends with inclusion students, there are inclusion students who tend to withdraw from their friends' social environment and occupy themselves with things they like, There is a prejudice against inclusive students are not capable of learning well and do not contribute as much to the school as regular students. Additionally, some inclusion students exhibit excessive behavior, making their peers uncomfortable anda somewhat fearful. The purpose of this study is to understand the acceptance of inclusion students by their peers at SMA Negeri 2 Bukittinggi. The research uses a quantitative descriptive approach. The population consist of inclusion students from classes kelas XE.1, XE.6, XI.F6, XII MIPA 4, XII IPS 3, XII IPS 4 and XII Bahasa. The sampling technique employed is total sampling with a sample size of 25% of the total population. The total sample used used in this study comprised 80 inclusion students from classes XE.1, XE.6 and XI.F6. The research instrument is a questionnaire. Descriptive ananlysis, the overall percentage of peer acceptance is 69% with an average of 30,75 and standard deviation of 6. This suggest that SMA Negeri 2 Bukittinggi has a relatively good enough level acceptance.
