Abstract

This study uses a qualitative research type with a population of 23 students. From the research conducted, it was found that the learning outcomes of students in the subject of aqidah akhlak class III / B at MI DDI 1 Palopo were still low, due to the lack of teacher creativity in delivering lessons. Therefore, the researcher conducted research in class III / B MI DDI 1 Palopo with the aim of improving learning in the subject of aqidah akhlak so that it could improve student learning outcomes through the use of teaching aids in the form of picture media and concrete objects. The research started from the pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II. Each cycle goes through four stages of research, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. In cycle I, the learning outcomes were 55.0% or 13 students achieved the KKM while 45.0% or 10 students had not achieved the KKM. In cycle II, 23 students or 100% had achieved the KKM. Thus, from the results of the study it can be seen that by using teaching aids in the form of image media and concrete objects in the lessons of faith and morals, it can increase interest in learning and make it easier for students to understand the lessons, so that it can improve learning outcomes and changes in character to become a better person can be achieved.
