Abstract

How is the process of implementing the TGT method in developing listening skills in folklore texts for students of class XI IPA 1 SMAN 1 Selayar? And what are the learning outcomes of listening skills in folklore texts after the application of the TGT model to students of class XI IPA 1 SMAN 1 Selayar. The purpose of the study was to determine the process of implementing the TGT method in developing listening skills in folklore texts for students of class XI IPA 1 SMAN 1 Selayar and to determine the learning outcomes of listening skills in folklore texts after the application of the TGT method to students of class XI IPA 1 SMA 1 Selayar. The research method used is a qualitative method with this type of research being classroom action research (CAR). Classroom action research (CAR) can be used in the research process of improving the learning outcomes of students of SMAN 1 Selayar class XI IPA 1 with the TGT learning model. The results of the study The data above show that there is a significant difference in the number of students who have a range of scores 0-59, 60-74 and 75-85 experienced differences. For student scores 0-59 in cycle I there were 5 children and for cycle II it became 3 people, student scores 60-74 in cycle I there were 5 children and for cycle II it became 7 children, scores 85-75 in cycle I there were 5 children and for cycle II it became 14 children, for scores 86-100 from cycle I to Cycle II not a single student got that score.
