Reski Amalia, 2025. The Effect of Using Local Wisdom-Based Learning Media in Increasing Reading Interest of Grade V Students of UPT SD Negeri 8 Tarowang. Thesis. Research on the Influence of Using Local Wisdom-Based Learning Media in Increasing Reading Interest of Fifth Grade Students of UPT SD Negeri 8 Tarowang. This study aims to describe the Influence of Using Local Wisdom-Based Learning Media in Increasing Reading Interest of Fifth Grade Students of UPT SD Negeri 8 Tarowang. The sample in this study was fifth grade students of UPT SD Negeri 8 Tarowang in the 2024/2025 academic year, totaling 16 people. The type of research used in this study is quantitative research with an experimental approach. The research design used in this study is One Group Pretest-posttest, where this study was conducted by comparing the conditions before and after learning. Based on the results of research and data analysis on the comparison of statistical values, comparison of learning outcome categories, and comparison of completion levels, it has proven that there has been an increase in the learning outcomes of class V students of UPT SD Negeri 8 Tarowang seen from the learning outcomes through descriptive statistical analysis before using local wisdom-based learning media, the average student score is still below the KKM score and after using local wisdom-based learning media, the average student score increases above the KKM score. It is known that the Posttest score of 80.31 is greater than the Pretest score of 60.06. Furthermore, based on the results of the inferential statistical data analysis using the t-test formula, it is known that the tcount obtained is 9,814 with a frequency of df = 16-1 = 15, at a significant level = 0.05, the ttable is 1.75305. So tcount> ttable or HO is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is a significant increase in learning outcomes. So that Local Wisdom-Based Learning Media can be used as a very appropriate supporting media for students and teachers.
