Abstract

The advancement of information technology has significantly influenced the educational sector, particularly in the development of learning media. However, many elementary schools still rely on conventional teaching tools that often fail to engage students effectively. This condition calls for the integration of digital media to enhance the learning experience. This study aimed to develop a Kinemaster-based instructional video for integrated thematic learning in Grade V of elementary school that is both valid and practical. This research employed a research and development (R&D) method using the 4D model, consisting of four stages: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The developed video was validated by experts in content, media, and language. Practicality was assessed through questionnaires distributed to teachers and students. The results of the validation process indicated that the video was highly valid, with scores of 86,3% for content, 87,5% for media, and 90,6% for language. Practicality tests also showed high scores, with teacher and student responses ranging from 86,57% to 96.4%. These findings indicate that the instructional video is suitable for use in the classroom and can support meaningful and engaging learning.
