Abstract

Islamic da'wah in rural areas faces significant challenges in the context of modernization and globalization, which bring about social and cultural changes. Local wisdom, which has long been a part of rural life, needs to be integrated into da'wah efforts to strengthen the message of Islam and address the challenges of the times. A da'wah approach based on local values that align with Islamic teachings is more likely to be accepted by rural communities. Additionally, da'wah workers need to use methods that are relevant to local social conditions, such as regional languages, local arts, and digital media. Da'wah that blends Islamic teachings with local wisdom can help build a religious, inclusive, and adaptive society. The role of local religious leaders is crucial in bridging religious teachings and the cultural values of the community, ensuring that da'wah strengthens the existing social and cultural bonds.
