Abstract

The problem in this study is how the role playing activities carried out by students on the concept of rights and obligations at home, how the attractiveness of the application of role playing models for students in grade IV SD Balfai, how learning outcomes after applying role playing models and Quizwhizzer media. With the aim of describing the course of role playing activities carried out by students on the concept of rights and obligations at home, describing the attractiveness of the application of the role playing model for fourth grade students of Balfai Elementary School, describing learning outcomes after applying the role playing model and Quizwhizzer media. The research method used is classroom action research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through learning outcome tests, teacher activity observations, learner activities and documentation. The research subjects were fourth grade students of SDN Balfai, Kupang Regency, totaling 24 students consisting of 15 boys and 9 girls. The results showed a significant increase in learning outcomes. Learning completeness increased from 33% in the pre-cycle to 71% in cycle I, and reached 88% in cycle II. Thus, the Role Playing learning model assisted by interactive media such as Quizwhizzer can be an effective alternative learning strategy in improving student learning outcomes in schools.
