Abstract

The inquiry learning model has proven effective in inclusive education contexts, particularly in practical activities such as ecoprint bag making. This approach emphasizes active student engagement through exploration and concrete experiences, which can help students with special needs understand abstract concepts more concretely. Furthermore, this method supports the development of creativity, fine motor skills, and social interaction. Inquiry learning has shown a positive impact on students with mild disabilities, such as speech and language impairments, intellectual disabilities, or slow learners. With appropriate adjustments and guidance, theyare able to follow the learning stages independently and collaboratively. However, for students with complexdisabilities, such as visual impairments, severe autism, and physical disabilities, this method requires modification andintensive support to maintain optimal engagement. The success of inquiry learning is inseparable from the support ofteachers, therapists, and parents in creating an inclusive learning environment that is responsive to students' needs. With an adaptive, contextual, and collaborative approach, the inquiry model is a relevant strategy to supportequitable education and facilitate the cognitive, social, and emotional development of students with special needs.
