Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of financial literacy, impulsive buying, and financial self-efficacy on the financial behavior of Generation Z in Bandung. The study involved 100 Generation Z participants in Bandung, selected using a purposive sampling approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed via Google Forms. The research employed a quantitative method with a descriptive-verificative approach, including determination analysis and hypothesis testing. The results indicate that financial literacy and financial self-efficacy have a positive and significant effect on financial behavior, while impulsive buying has a negative and significant effect. Simultaneously, financial literacy, impulsive buying, and financial self-efficacy collectively exert a significant influence on the financial behavior of Generation Z, particularly in Bandung.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji analisis terkait pengaruh literasi keuangan, impulsive buying, serta financial self-efficacy pada perilaku keuangan generasi Z di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini melibatkan 100 Generasi Z di Kota Bandung, yang ditentukan melalui pendekatan purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan penyebaran kuesioner melalui Google Formulir. Metode yang digunakan yaitu jenis kuantitatif disertai pendekatan bersifat deskriptif-verifikatif, meliputi analisis determinasi serta pengujian hipotesis. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini memperlihatkan adanya pengaruh positif serta signifikan yang diberikan literasi keuangan serta financial self-efficacy terhadap perilaku keuangan, kemudian adanya pengaruh negatif serta signifikan yang diberikan impulsive buying terhadap perilaku keuangan. Secara simultan, adanya pengaruh signifikan dari literasi keuangan, impulsive buying, beserta financial self-efficacy terhadap perilaku keuangan Generasi Z terkhususnya di Kota Bandung.
