Abstract

Ikan mas (Cyprinus carpio) merupakan komoditas air tawar unggulan, namun produksi budidayanya masih terkendala, salah satunya infeksi bakteri Pseudomonas fluorescens yang berdampak pada sistem hematologi ikan. Penggunaan antibiotik sebagai pengobatan memiliki resiko resistensi dan pencemaran lingkungan. Ekstrak kasar daun belimbing wuluh (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif pengganti antibiotik karena memiliki aktivitas antibakteri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh serta menentukan konsentrasi optimal ekstrak terhadap hematologi ikan mas yang terinfeksi P. fluorescens. Penelitian dilakukan secara eksperimental menggunakan RAL dengan 5 perlakuan, 2 kontrol dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan pengobatan melalui metode perendaman menggunakan konsentrasi 5 ppm, 45 ppm, 85 ppm, 125 ppm, dan 165 ppm. Hasil penelitian melalui olah data secara statistika parametrik menujukkan bahwa konsentrasi 102,77-126,08 ppm menghasilkan parameter hematologi terbaik dengan survival rate tertinggi sebesar 93,33% dengan kualitas air yang optimal selama penelitian.   Goldfish (Cyprinus carpio) is a leading freshwater commodity, but its cultivation production is still constrained, one of which is infection with Pseudomonas fluorescens bacteria which has an impact on the fish's hematological system. The use of antibiotics as a treatment has the risk of resistance and environmental pollution. Crude extract of star fruit leaves (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) can be used as an alternative to antibiotics because it has antibacterial activity. This study aims to analyze the effect and determine the optimal concentration of the extract on the hematology of goldfish infected with P. fluorescens. The research was conducted experimentally using RAL with 5 treatments, 2 controls and 3 replications. Treatment was done through immersion method using concentrations of 5 ppm, 45 ppm, 85 ppm, 125 ppm, and 165 ppm. The results of the study through parametric statistical data processing showed that the concentration of 102.77-126.08 ppm produced the best hematological parameters with the highest survival rate of 93.33% with optimal water quality during the study.
