Community service is an activity that aims to help in resolving issue and generating positive feedback for community. Study Program of D4 Medical Laboratory Technology conducted a PkM activity at the Raudlatul Musthofa Islamic Boarding School in Rejotangan, Tulungagung, East Java. This target of event are santriwati. This PkM discusses about the issue of Pediculosis, especially in santriwati, because of this case, which is still quite prevalent in the Pondok environment. Pediculosis is an infection that is caused by Pediculosis humanus var. capitis. Pediculosis capitis can cause scalp infections and anemia in severe condition. This condition can disrupt the quality of learning and self confidence of student. The risk factors for Pediculosis infection are closely related to personal hygiene. Therefore, the perpuse of PkM is to increase awareness about how to prevent and manage of pediculosis. The activities carried out include distributing questionnaires and providing education to santriwati. According to the PkM results, 36 (90%) of the 40 santriwati tested n for Pediculosis, while 4 (10%) santriwati tested positive for it. Following the education, the santriwati knowledge level grew as well. This is evidenced by the post-test results, which improved over the pre-test results, with the percentage of accurate answers increasing from 70% to 80% in the post-test. Santriwati infested with head lice were treated with a lice comb. Prevention is achieved through socialization-based instruction. This practice is supposed to improve santriwati’s personal hygiene and hence reduce incidences of pediculosis
