Abstract

The rapid circulation of hoaxes and disinformation in the digital age poses significant challenges to social cohesion and moral values, particularly within Muslim communities. This study explores digital literacy as an ethical and religious instrument in implementing the Islamic principle of amar ma’ruf nahi munkar in contemporary cyberspace. Employing a qualitative library research approach, this paper examines classical Islamic sources alongside contemporary studies on digital communication ethics. The findings indicate that digital literacy in Islam transcends technical competence and functions as a form of moral accountability (amanah) rooted in truthfulness (ash-shidq) and responsibility in information dissemination. Practices such as information verification (tabayyun) and corrective engagement in online spaces represent concrete expressions of enjoining good and preventing harm. This study argues that strengthening digital awareness grounded in Islamic ethics is essential for cultivating a healthy, just, and civilized digital public sphere.

Abstract

The development of digital media has given rise to a new phenomenon in dawah, namely the emergence of Muslim Influencers. This study aims to analyze the moral and ethical responsibilities of dawah that should be upheld by Muslim Influencers on digital platforms. The method used is qualitative with a library research approach, with data collected from various literature sources such as journals, books, and related academic works. The results of the study indicate that although the term "influencer" is not explicitly found in the Qur'an, its concept and responsibilities are implicitly reflected in QS. An-Nahl [16]: 125. Their presence has a significant influence on the mindset and behavior of society. However, dawah on social media also faces various challenges, such as inconsistent content, inadequate competence of preachers, and the risk of spreading unverified information. Therefore, this study concludes that The application of da'wah ethical values is very crucial. The main values that must be held include Sincerity and Truth (Sidiq), Patience, and Debate Ethics which are based on sincere intentions, clear goals, and the spirit of brotherhood in order to create a positive impact on the digital society.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze various BTA learning methods and examine their impact on children's character development, particularly in aspects of reinforcing monotheism, ethics, and religious moderation. This study uses a qualitative approach through library research methods. Data were obtained from scientific books and reputable journals published between 2020 and 2026, then analyzed using content analysis techniques to identify conceptual patterns, pedagogical relevance, and characterological implications of the BTA methods studied. The research results show that the talaqqi method combined with the approach of understanding meaning (tadabbur) has proven effective in integrating the values of monotheism into children’s consciousness more deeply. This integration contributes to enhanced mental resilience, the development of inner peace (thuma’ninah), as well as fostering tolerant, inclusive attitudes that are oriented toward the values of religious moderation. BTA learning based on the internalization of meaning also strengthens the connection between cognitive, affective, and spiritual aspects in the Islamic education process. The novelty of this research lies in the conceptual formulation that integrates Qur'an literacy with the reinforcement of mental health and the development of a moderate character as a unified pedagogical approach. The policy implications of these findings emphasize the need to reorient the BTA local content curriculum so that it not only focuses on technical reading fluency but also prioritizes the internalization of values, the development of good manners, as well as strengthening the psychosocial and spiritual dimensions of children within the framework of holistic Islamic education.
