Abstract

An educational leader's ability to implement his leadership model is crucial for transformative leadership. According to research on the evolution of management and leadership, which sees people, performance, and organizational growth as interdependent sides, transformational leadership is rooted in the need for self-esteem and encourages leaders to be self-aware in their pursuit of excellence. The ability to envision a better future for the organization and then work towards making that future a reality through the combined efforts of all employees is at the heart of transformational leadership. This kind of leadership also centers on the leader's capacity to think creatively, articulately, socially, transform, and implement ideal thoughts that either come from within or emerge from interactions between stakeholders and members of the organization. As a manager, educator, and entrepreneur, he must pay close attention to the vision, mission, goals, programs, and activities in order to carry out the obligations of a transformational leader. Educational institutions have their own distinct cultures that are defined by the values, conventions, beliefs, traditions, and distinctive ways of thinking that all members of the organization adhere to and display in their actions.
