Abstract

This research aims to study ecological aspects related to land use in Samangki Village, Simbang District, Maros District. Qualitative methods are used in this research, with data collection through interviews, field observations, and documentation studies. The results show that Samangki Village has unique ecological characteristics, with natural ecosystems of forests, rivers, and agricultural land. However, there are significant land- use changes due to urbanization factors, government policies, and economic changes. The ecological impacts faced include the decline in soil quality, water, and biodiversity. These findings have important implications for efforts to maintain the sustainability of land use in the Samangki Village. Bisedas that,This research tries to explain the development of Bantimurung Tourism Park. So the uniqueness of the Bantimurung-Bulusaraung National Park that attracts local and foreign tourists, karst: caves with beautiful stalagmites and stalagmites, and is best known as a butterfly. The method used in this study is a research method by collecting data (heuristics) that contains both primary and secondary sources obtained from interviews and the results of the presentation of previous studies, after which an assessment of the sources obtained in order to obtain information that is acceptable and reliable. The data that has been processed are then interpreted into historical narratives, after which they are written in historiography. The results of this study describe Bantimurung which has the potential of natural charm, benefits, and educational value. This development certainly has a significant impact on the economic and socio-cultural community.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative research that aims to: 1) to know the socioeconomic background of seaweed farmers in Borongtala Village, Tamalatea Sub-district, Pinrang Regency. 2) find out how seaweed farmers' perceptions of children's formal education level in Borongtala Village, Tamalatea Sub-district, Pinrang Regency. The population in this study were 182 household heads. The sampling technique used the Snowball Sampling technique with a sample of 30 household heads. Data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using descriptive data analysis techniques. The results obtained from data analysis: 1. Social background: The education level of seaweed farmers is mostly at the primary level. And the condition of formal education of seaweed farmers' children stated that most seaweed farmers' children still continue their education at the primary level and secondary level. Economic background: The income level of the majority of seaweed farmers is still very low. And the average work expenditure of seaweed farmers used in working every day is 7-9 hours. 2. Seaweed farmers' perceptions of children's formal education levels in Borongtala Village are classified as good (Positive) because there are 60% of seaweed farmers have positive perceptions of children's formal education levels and 40% of seaweed farmers have negative perceptions of children's formal education levels.

Abstract

Tourism is  a  sector  that  is  currently  developing  and  has  even  become  a  global  phenomenon.  Indonesia's marine  and  coastal  areas  have  the  highest  biodiversity  in  the  world.  The  coastal  area  of  Makassar  city  is  located  in  the  Tanjung  Bunga  Metro  Area,  Tamalate  District,  Makassar  City,  South  Sulawesi.  This  research  is  a  type  of  qualitative  research  with  the  sampling  technique  used  is  purposive  sampling  with  data  collection  techniques  used,  namely  1)  observation  techniques,  2)  interview  techniques,  3)  documentation  techniques. The  results show that the coastal  area  of  Indah  Bosowa  has  qualified  potential  both  in  terms  of  beauty  and  others,  the  beautiful  beach  of  Bosowa  is  considered  a  very  new  beach  considering  the  year  it  was  built  around  2020  so  that  tourism  management  needs  to  be  done.
