Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a driving force in the transformation of sustainable supply chain management, aimed at reducing waste and enhancing operational efficiency. In the context of globalisation and rapid technological advancement, companies are required to focus not only on profit but also on the social and environmental impacts of their business activities. This research aims to explore how AI can be applied to enhance sustainability within the supply chain by minimising waste and improving efficiency. Through big data analysis, AI can provide more accurate predictions regarding product demand, enabling companies to optimise production and reduce surplus. This study also identifies the challenges faced by companies in integrating this new technology, including a lack of understanding and skills among workers. By providing insights into best practices and policy recommendations, this research seeks to assist companies in adopting AI as part of their sustainability strategies. The findings indicate that the implementation of AI can not only enhance operational efficiency by up to 30% but also contribute to the reduction of carbon footprints and the achievement of sustainable development goals.

Abstract

Perubahan lingkungan usaha perbankan dalam satu dekade terakhir ditandai oleh meningkatnya kompleksitas risiko yang bersifat baru dan berkembang (emerging risk). Di antara emerging risk yang paling menonjol, risiko iklim dan risiko digital semakin diakui memiliki implikasi signifikan terhadap stabilitas dan keberlanjutan perbankan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tata kelola risiko perbankan di era emerging risk melalui sintesis literatur konseptual yang berfokus pada risiko iklim dan risiko digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi pustaka konseptual dengan menganalisis literatur akademik dan dokumen kebijakan yang relevan melalui teknik sintesis tematik. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa risiko iklim dan risiko digital bersifat lintas kategori, sistemik, dan berfungsi sebagai risk drivers yang memperkuat berbagai jenis risiko keuangan dan non-keuangan. Pembahasan juga mengungkap bahwa praktik pengelolaan risiko perbankan masih cenderung terfragmentasi, sehingga berpotensi melemahkan efektivitas tata kelola risiko. Artikel ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan tata kelola risiko terintegrasi melalui pendekatan Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), dengan peran aktif dewan komisaris dan manajemen puncak dalam mengintegrasikan risiko iklim dan risiko digital ke dalam strategi dan pengambilan keputusan perbankan. Secara konseptual, artikel ini memberikan kontribusi dengan menawarkan perspektif integratif atas tata kelola risiko perbankan di era emerging risk, serta memberikan implikasi bagi praktik perbankan dan pengembangan kebijakan.
