Abstract

This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with the research subjects consisting of principals and teachers from SMKN 1 Kotaagung Timur and SMKS Erlangga Kotaagung. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies, and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques.The findings show that clinical supervision management was implemented systematically through four management functions. Planning was conducted based on teachers’ needs and learning data; organizing positioned the principal as a learning partner (coach); implementation followed the clinical cycle of pre-observation, observation, and post-observation; and controlling was carried out through data-based evaluation to develop follow-up action plans for teacher development. This implementation led to improvements in the quality of the learning process, as indicated by the use of active learning methods, increased student engagement, and strengthened vocational skills. It can be concluded that clinical supervision management oriented toward coaching and professional collaboration is effective in improving the quality of the learning process in vocational high schools. Abstrak: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian kepala sekolah dan guru di SMKN 1 Kotaagung Timur dan SMKS Erlangga Kotaagung. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen supervisi klinis dilaksanakan secara sistematis melalui empat fungsi manajemen. Perencanaan dilakukan berbasis kebutuhan guru dan data pembelajaran, pengorganisasian menempatkan kepala sekolah sebagai mitra belajar (coach), pelaksanaan mengikuti siklus klinis pra-observasi, observasi, dan pasca-observasi, serta evaluasi dilakukan berbasis data untuk menyusun rencana tindak lanjut pengembangan guru. Implementasi ini berdampak pada peningkatan kualitas proses pembelajaran, ditandai dengan penggunaan metode pembelajaran aktif, meningkatnya keterlibatan siswa, serta penguatan keterampilan kejuruan. Disimpulkan bahwa manajemen supervisi klinis yang berorientasi pada coaching dan kolaborasi profesional efektif dalam meningkatkan mutu proses pembelajaran di SMK. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of learning motivation and learning discipline on the academic achievement of eleventh-grade students at SMK Negeri Sukoharjo, both partially and simultaneously. The research employed a quantitative method with a survey approach. The sample was determined using proportional random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and academic record documentation, then analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS after meeting the prerequisite tests. The results showed that both learning motivation and learning discipline had a positive and significant effect on academic achievement, with learning discipline having a more dominant influence. Simultaneously, both variables contributed significantly to improving students’ academic performance. This study recommends strengthening intrinsic motivation and fostering consistent learning discipline through structured learning strategies to enhance the quality of learning outcomes in vocational schools. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh motivasi dan kedisiplinan belajar terhadap prestasi belajar peserta didik kelas XI SMK Negeri Sukoharjo, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Sampel ditentukan melalui proportional random sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dan dokumentasi nilai, serta dianalisis dengan regresi linear berganda melalui SPSS setelah uji prasyarat terpenuhi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi dan kedisiplinan belajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar, dengan kedisiplinan sebagai faktor yang lebih dominan. Secara bersama-sama, kedua variabel memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan prestasi belajar. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan motivasi intrinsik dan pembiasaan disiplin belajar melalui pembelajaran yang terstruktur guna meningkatkan kualitas hasil belajar di SMK.
