Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Islamic Religious Education learning and parenting styles on students’ emotional intelligence. This research employed a quantitative approach with a survey method. The population consisted of fifth-grade students of State Elementary School 22 Tumijajar, and the sampling technique used was total sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted through prerequisite tests, namely normality and linearity tests, followed by hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression. The results showed that Islamic Religious Education learning has a significant effect on students’ emotional intelligence. Parenting styles also have a significant effect on emotional intelligence. Simultaneously, Islamic Religious Education learning and parenting styles have a significant influence on students’ emotional intelligence. These findings indicate that the synergy between school and family environments plays a crucial role in developing students’ emotional intelligence. Therefore, improving students’ emotional intelligence requires active roles from both teachers and parents in creating supportive learning and parenting environments, enabling students to develop not only cognitively but also emotionally and character-wise.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi berbasis artificial intelligence (AI) dan perubahan paradigma pembelajaran menuju student-centered learning mendorong perlunya inovasi pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik, termasuk dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh AI tools sebagai sumber belajar dan student-centered learning terhadap motivasi belajar PAI pada materi akhlak siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 4 Tanjung Raja. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 85 siswa kelas IX dan seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket dengan skala Likert dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda berbantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa AI tools sebagai sumber belajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar PAI dengan nilai t hitung sebesar 5,464 dan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Sementara itu, student-centered learning secara parsial tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar dengan nilai signifikansi 0,412 > 0,05. Namun, secara simultan AI tools sebagai sumber belajar dan student-centered learning berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar PAI dengan nilai F hitung sebesar 15,225 dan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan motivasi belajar PAI, khususnya pada materi akhlak, memerlukan integrasi antara pemanfaatan AI tools dan pendekatan pembelajaran yang mendorong keterlibatan aktif peserta didik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the forms, roles, and impacts of Islamic philanthropy based on pesantren in empowering the community’s economy at Pondok Pesantren Al-Falakhussa’adah. The scope of the research includes philanthropic practices in education, social-humanitarian activities, productive economic programs, and ZISWAF management. This study employs a qualitative method with an empirical approach through field research. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and analyzed inductively through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that philanthropic practices in the pesantren have shifted from a charity-based approach toward an empowerment-based model. The programs include scholarships, social assistance, business capital support, and entrepreneurship training. These initiatives have contributed to increasing economic independence, creating new micro-enterprises, improving income levels, and establishing a community-based economic network. In conclusion, Pondok Pesantren Al-Falakhussa’adah has developed an integrative philanthropic model that combines religious, social, and economic values. Although still dominated by consumptive practices, the transition toward productive philanthropy indicates strong potential for sustainable community welfare improvement.
