<![CDATA[ABSTRACT West Java Province has risen to 2nd place as the province with the highest cases of hypertension in Indonesia. Preventive program efforts are needed to detect hypertension early so that a person can change lifestyle patterns that are at risk of making hypertension worse. Cold Pressure Test (CPT) is a tool to measure cardiovascular reactivity, especially changes in blood pressure, in response to stress to help detect latent stages of hypertension. This research is quantitative research using a quasi-experimental design. The total sample in this study was 178 people. This research uses pre-test and post-test, forming 1 group. The sampling technique in this research used non-probability sampling with consecutive sampling type. The results of the study stated that there was a significant change in the cold pressure test (CPT) treatment on the values of systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure (p value < 0.05). Someone knows changes in their blood pressure which is expected to change unhealthy habits into a healthier lifestyle. Perlu upaya program pencegahan dalam mendeteksi dini hipertensi supaya seseorang dapat mengubah pola hidup yang beresiko memperberat hipertensi. Cold Pressure Test (CPT) sebagai alat untuk mengukur reaktivitas kardiovaskular, khususnya perubahan tekanan darah, sebagai respons terhadap stress untuk untuk membantu mendeteksi stadium laten hipertensi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan mengunakan desain quasy experimental. Total sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 178 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis pre-test dan post-test, membentuk 1 kelompok. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan non probability sampling dengan jenis consecutive sampling. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa terdapat perubahan yang bermakna pada perlakuan cold pressure test (CPT) terhadap nilai tekanan darah sistolik dan tekanan darah diastolik (p value < 0,05). Seseorang mengetahui perubahan tekanan darahnya yang diharapkan bisa merubah kebiasaan kurang sehat menjadi pola hidup yang lebih sehat.
