Abstract

Telemedicine has become a promising solution for increasing access to health services, especially for underserved populations and in remote areas. This research aims to test the effectiveness of telemedicine in increasing public health access and explore its integration in strengthening health-related digital literacy. This study was conducted in the context of systematic literature research, using the PRISMA method to collect and evaluate articles from reputable international databases. The results of the literature review show that telemedicine is effective in overcoming geographic barriers and limited health infrastructure, especially during crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the challenges of policy implementation, technology infrastructure, and equality of access remain important issues that need to be addressed. On the other hand, digital literacy plays a crucial role in strengthening access to health information and informed decision making. It is hoped that the integration of telemedicine with increasing digital health literacy can increase equitable access to health. The implications of this research include providing new insights for policy makers and health practitioners in optimizing the use of telemedicine to overcome access barriers and increase digital literacy among the public.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of telemedicine interventions in improving access to health services and health outcomes in rural and remote areas of developing countries. Through the systematic literature review method, articles from international databases such as PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science are collected and analyzed using the PRISMA framework. The results show that telemedicine can significantly increase the accessibility of healthcare services, reduce costs and travel time, and improve chronic disease management and overall patient health outcomes. The implications of this research support further adoption of telemedicine to reduce disparities in health services in remote areas.

Abstract

Technology-based health service quality improvement strategies aim to increase efficiency, effectiveness and quality of health services. However, key challenges in improving patient satisfaction and safety require further attention. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of technology-based strategies in improving patient satisfaction and safety. The research method uses a meta-analysis approach by collecting articles from databases such as Scopus and PubMed, and applying the PRISMA method for filtering articles. The research results show that the use of technology such as wearable devices, artificial intelligence (AI), and the Internet of Things (IoT) has a significant positive impact on patient safety and satisfaction. Implications of this research include recommendations for health policy, clinical practice, training and education, as well as increasing patient involvement in the care process.
