Abstract

The current era of globalization has accelerated the movement of information, capital, and people across national borders, while facilitating the emergence of transnational terrorism that threatens national sovereignty and security. In Indonesia, this threat is increasingly apparent with terrorist networks such as Jemaah Islamiyah and ISIS affiliates utilizing digital technology for radicalization and funding. This study analyzes strategies for eradicating transnational terrorism through a normative juridical approach, focusing on the national legal framework (Law No. 5 of 2018 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Terrorism) as well as international UNSCR 1373/2001 and the ASEAN Convention on Counter-Terrorism. The implication for Indonesia is the need to reform regulations to accommodate aspects of cyber terrorism and strengthen the role of the National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT) in multilateral forums. This study also recommends a regional cooperation model based on restorative justice with the aim of minimizing re-radicalization, thereby maintaining stability in Southeast Asia.

Abstract

The road signage installation program in Pasar Ngalam Village, Air Periukan District, Seluma Regency, was implemented as a strategic effort to enhance road user safety in a rural area that previously lacked adequate road infrastructure. This study aims to analyze the program's effectiveness in improving traffic safety and to identify the factors facilitating or hindering its implementation. The results indicate that the program successfully raised community awareness regarding the importance of traffic safety, reduced the risk of accidents at accident-prone locations, and improved access to navigational information for both residents and visitors.

Abstract

Traffic safety and orderliness are crucial aspects of establishing a safe, comfortable, and orderly transportation system, particularly in rural areas with limited traffic infrastructure. One measure to enhance road user safety is the use of road delineators devices that provide visual guidance to drivers, especially along road sections featuring curves, intersections, or conditions associated with a relatively high risk of accidents. This study aims to analyze the use of road delineators in supporting traffic safety and orderliness in Pasar Ngalam Village. The findings indicate that the installation of road delineators yields significant benefits by improving the visibility of road boundaries, helping drivers recognize the road's direction and conditions, reducing the potential for accidents, and fostering greater community awareness regarding orderly driving.
