<![CDATA[ABSTRACT Perineal wounds are sensitive areas that can lead to infection if improperly treated. The incidence of perineal wound infection ranges from 0.1% to 23.6% in postpartum mothers. Green grass jelly (Cyclea barbata miers) leaves are known to contain active flavonoids and tannins that have the potential to accelerate wound healing. To analyze the effectiveness of green grass jelly leaf extract gel (EDCH) on perineal wound healing in Wistar rats and the length of the perineal wound. A true experiment with a posttest-only control group design. A total of 30 female Wistar rats were divided into five groups: group 1 (green grass jelly leaf extract gel/EDCH 5%), group 2 (EDCH gel 10%), group 3 (EDCH gel 15%), group 4 (clean and dry), and group 5 (povidone iodine). Perineal incisions were made 1 cm in size and ± 4 mm deep mediolaterally. The intervention group received EDCH gel, control group 1 received povidone iodine, and control group 2 received dry cleaning treatment. Treatment was carried out twice daily for 7 days. Data were analyzed using the Friedman test and Wilcoxon post hoc test. Based on the 5 groups, the 15% EDCH gel group was the most effective group in healing rat perineal wounds on day 5, with a reduction in wound length (0.00±0.000) p=0.00.green grass jelly leaf extract gel preparation was effective in reducing wound length in the healing of perineal wounds in female Wistar rats. ABSTRAK Luka perineum merupakan daerah luka yang sensitif, jika penanganannya kurang tepat dapat menyebabkan infeksi. Insiden infeksi luka perineum berkisar antara 0,1%-23,6% pada ibu pasca persalinan. Daun cincau hijau (Cyclea barbata miers) diketahui memiliki kandungan senyawa aktif flavonoid dan tanin yang berpotensi mempercepat penyembuhan luka. Menganalisis efektfitas sediaan gel ekstrak daun cincau hijau (EDCH) terhadap penyembuhan luka perineum tikus wistar. True eksperiment dengan posttest-only control group design. Total sampel 30 ekor tikus wistar betina yang dibagi menjadi 5 kelompok yaitu kelompok 1 (gel ekstrak daun cincau hijau/EDCH 5%), kelompok 2 (gel EDCH 10%), kelompok 3 (gel EDCH 15%), kelompok 4 (bersih kering), dan kelompok 5 (povidone Iodine). Luka sayatan perineum tikus dibuat berukuran 1 cm. Kelompok intervensi dengan pemberian gel EDCH, kelompok kontrol 1 diberikan povidone iodine dan kelompok kontrol 2 dilakukan perawatan bersih kering. Perlakuan dilakukan sehari 2 kali selama 7 hari. Analisis data dengan uji friedman dan uji post hoc wilcoxon. Berdasarkan dari 5 kelompok menunjukan bahwa kelompok gel EDCH 15% merupakan kelompok yang paling efektif dalam penyembuhan luka perineum tikus pada hari ke-5 (0,00±0,000) p=0,00.Sediaan gel ekstrak daun cincau hijau efektif mempercepat penyembuhan luka perineum tikus wistar betina.
